The financial support given by the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund has meant we have been able to double our size. The apiary has been extended. We have more hives and a brand new seating area with new benches.
Grants received from local businesses and organisations directly benefit our programmes, allowing us to expand our community outreach. We are dedicated to utilising these funds effectively to bring beekeeping to more veterans, providing new skills and creating a community of like minded individuals. In so doing, improving mental health and giving people a sense of worth. .
